Lyrically the song is about coping with my own depression, feeling alienated and disconnected from others, feeling like i'm just on autopilot going through the motions of life but i'm not really there, i'm not in the room, i've disappeared completely.

'As Blue As Indigo' introspectively searches for the meaning in sadness and melancholy. It draws on the subjectivity of colour to paint metaphors and help me interrogate myself further.
